Negotiation Techniques in Carrying Functional Duties of Municipal Police Unit in Klungkung Regency

Abstract

This negotiation technique aims at a pattern or plan that integrates the main organizational goals, policies, and a series of activities into a unified whole. This study aims to determine, analyze and explain negotiation techniques in the implementation of the functions of the Civil Service Police and a model of negotiation techniques in carrying out the duties of the Civil Service Police, Klungkung Regency, Bali Province. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach in developing various theories that exist and are being developed. The authors' research data was obtained from interviews with key informants and stakeholders, reviewing documents, and making observations. Data analysis used qualitative analysis by covering data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The findings obtained are that good and correct negotiation techniques will help allocate organizational resources into unique positions in the organization, based on internal strengths and weaknesses, environmental changes, and possible actions from opposing intelligence parties. The conclusion of the research is that good negotiations are based on accurate and factual real data so that every argument that is built is always inseparable from the facts.
