Indonesia's electric car policy is currently underway. The consequences of the policy are inevitable. The automotive industry involves business actors, mostly automotive micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Furthermore, through literature studies, this research tries to analyse the electric car policy's strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT) regarding MSMEs. The analysis results map the electric car policy's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and challenges for automotive MSMEs. The strength identified is that this policy can encourage the Human Resources (HR) of Automotive MSMEs to keep up with technological developments and environmental policies. The weakness identified is the possibility of economic impacts on existing automotive MSMEs. Opportunities that arise provide opportunities for businesses to develop competence and product diversification. Meanwhile, the challenges identified are the need for policies and budgets to encourage innovative programmes that cushion the economy of automotive MSMEs. Several proposed solutions are presented in this study by the results of the analyses that have been conducted.
