Community Participation in Quality Village Management During the Covid-19 Pandemic

Abstract

Kampung KB is expected to be able to bring up various strategic innovations that have high leverage in implementing various Proud Kencana programs in the field. Active community participation is one aspect of the success of the Kampung KB program. The purpose of this study was to analyze the situation of the implementation of the KB Village and analyze the forms of community participation in the management of the KB Village before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach. The results of the study indicate that the Kampung KB institution in Way Lunik Village has been well internalized, community participation is very good by volunteering to pioneer and be involved in KB Village activities to date. However, obstacles in carrying out activities during the current Covid-19 pandemic have caused limitations in the implementation of activities. Coordination and socialization activities are carried out by utilizing social media. Based on the stages of Arnstein's public participation, the participation of the Way Lunik Village community in managing the KB Village is at level 6, namely partnership (cooperating).
